Prince George, BC – The University of Victoria men's basketball team captured a 76-55 win over the University of Northern British Columbia, Nov. 28 at Brownridge Court.
Victoria jumped out to an early lead.
- The Vikes wasted no time getting the scoring started as Ethan Boag and company scored 21 first-quarter points to grab an early nine-point lead.
- Victoria continued their strong play into the second quarter, adding on to their lead as they headed to the locker room with a 36-24 halftime lead.
UNBC battled, but Victoria put them away in the fourth
- UNBC began to inch back as they outscored the Vikes 22-17 in the third quarter, building momentum they hoped to build on in the fourth quarter.
- Led by Ryan Gallagher, the Vikes played elite basketball in the fourth quarter, putting the Timberwolves away to secure their eighth Canada West conference win.

- With the win, the Vikes improve to 8-2, first in the Canada West Pacific Division. The Timberwolves fall to 2-8.
- The Vikes' strong offensive performance was led by Ryan Gallagher's 15 points in his first start of the season.
