VICTORIA - With the Vikes' Celebration of Championship just over a week away, the finalists for the major athletic awards will be announced Thursday on Vikes Radio.

This week's Vikes Radio show, which runs Thursdays at 3 p.m. on CFUV 101.9 FM or streamed online at cfuv.uvic.ca, will announce the finalists for the Robert T. Wallace Rookies of the Year, the Chancellor's Award, the Male and Female Outstanding Athletes of the Year, and the President's Cup.

The Vikes' Celebration of Champions is a year-end celebration of past and present Vikes athletic achievements and takes place annually at the Victoria Conference Centre. This year's event takes place Tuesday, April 6th.
