SILVIS, Ill. - The 59th annual NAIA men's golf National Championship is set to tee of on Tuesday at TPC Deere Run, with the UVic Vikes entering as the NAIA Regional champs and ranked no. 15.

The Vikes earned one of the 21 automatic qualifiers, after winning their NAIA Regional tournament in late April at Monroe, Ore. Seven at-large berths were also awarded for the 72-hole tournament, which runs May 18-21.

#Sam Holland#, a rookie from New Minas, N.S., won the NAIA Regional Tournament and will be one of 156 players in the tournament. Other Vikes competitors include, #Stephen Lane#, #Jordan Ediger#, #James Holland# and #Chase Teron#.

At last year's tournament, also at TPC Deere Run, the Vikes placed 14th overall. Their best finish came in 2007 with a 7th place showing.
