FREDERICTON - #Anne Balser# wrapped up round three at the Golf Canada University Championship with a two-over 74, moving her into a tie for first place overall.

Balser (75, 74, 74), a native of Digby, N.S., lowered her tournament score to seven-over 223, and tied UBC's Kylie Barros for the lead. Balser carded two birdies and eagled the 438-yard hole six at Kingswood Park.
Vikes rookie #Megan Woodland# (77, 77, 74) matched Balser's third round score, and finished the day two-over to move into fifth place overall.
Despite the low rounds from the Vikes duo, UBC widened their lead in the team standings. The six-time champion T-Birds enter the final round with a cumulative score of 901, and the Vikes sit 25 strokes back at 926.
Meanwhile, #Alyssa Herkel# (81, 75, 78) regained her position in the top 10 at 18-over through day three, #Michaela Misener# (80, 83, 78) turned in her best score and moved into 16th place, and #Kristy Chew# (87, 85, 84) finishes with a share of 27th place.
The 72-hole tournament wraps up Thursday at Kingswood Park.
