VICTORIA – The 14th edition of the Vikes Golf Classic, presented by the UVic Alumni Association will tee off Wednesday morning at Uplands Golf Club.

To date, the fundraiser for athletic scholarships and operating funds for the Vikes golf teams has raised over a quarter of a million dollars.

Several current members of the Vikes will be on hand including Steven Lane, former NAIA All-American, who will deliver the keynote address at the evening's dinner.

“This event is a great fundraiser which always has a tremendous turnout from the community,” UVic Vikes golf head coach #Bryan Carbery# said. “Without this tournament and the funds that are raised, Vikes golf wouldn't be around. The scholarship funds raised from the tournament allow our programs to stay competitive and attract some of the top athletes from across the country.”

Lunch and dinner are provided with a $250.00 individual ticket purchase or a $1,000.00 team package. Registration for the event opens at 11am with the provided lunch commencing at 12 noon.
