Danielle Hanus, a second-year swimmer from Newmarket, ON, burst into the Canadian swimming scene by earning four medals at her first U SPORTS National Championships. The Humanities major captured silver medals in the 50 and 100-metre backstrokes as well as in the 100-metre butterfly. Hanus captured gold in the 200-metre butterfly and set new Vikes records in three of her four individual races.
