Women’s Rowing – $132,949 Raised
The Vikes women’s rowing program continues to set the standard nationally, powered by your generous support. Your gift funds team travel for training camps and competitions, launches fundraising for a new 8+ shell to upgrade our fleet, and supports coaching development—including compensation for assistant coaches—to maintain a world‑class training environment.
Men’s Rowing – $68,291 Raised
Your support strengthens the Vikes men’s rowing program by funding honorariums for assistant coaches, expanding the race calendar to provide more competitive opportunities, and contributing to the replacement of a 2012 lightweight coxed four for CURCs. These investments enhance athlete development and reinforce the student‑athlete‑driven culture that defines our program.
Men’s Rugby – $29,315 Raised
Touring is a cornerstone of Vikes men’s rugby, and your support helps fund the team’s February 2026 Portugal tour—covering travel costs, ensuring accessibility for all players, and building a foundation for future international competition. These experiences foster team cohesion, deepen cultural exchange, and accelerate competitive growth.
Women’s Soccer – $25,845 Raised
Your support strengthens the Vikes women’s soccer program by funding essential preseason travel and enabling the team’s participation in the Mia Gunter Memorial Special Olympics Tournament—an experience that enhances competitive preparation while deepening community engagement. Women’s Field Hockey – $26,993 Raised
Thanks to your generosity, the Vikes women’s field hockey team will embark on an August 2026 pre‑season trip to Germany and Holland—an opportunity that offsets travel and accommodation costs, provides world‑class training with top club coaches, and exposes athletes to international competition and learning at the highest level.
Golf – $16,980 Raised
Your support helps Vikes golf sustain NAIA competition by covering essential travel and participation costs, funding a full‑time assistant travel coach, and reducing out‑of‑pocket expenses for student‑athletes. These investments ensure access to top‑tier competition across North America and strengthen our ability to recruit elite Canadian talent.

This year, supporters strengthened a wide range of programs, including the Women’s Volleyball Club ($5,935), Women’s Softball Club ($3,025), Vikes Coastal Rowing ($2,850), Tennis Club ($2,650), Sailing Club ($2,350), Men’s Field Hockey ($1,175), Men’s Ultimate ($1,125), Dance Club ($1,100), Cycling Club ($760), Women’s Ultimate ($685), UVic Triathlon Club ($325), UVic Cheer Squad ($225), UVic Ballroom Club ($100), UVic Artistic Swimming Club ($100), and UVic Ice Hockey ($50). Your generosity helps athletes train, travel, compete, host events, and build supportive communities—whether placing at national championships, racing across the Pacific Northwest, developing new programs like coastal rowing, or sustaining inclusive sport environments on campus.
