Why your support matters
The UVic Artistic Swimming Club is a passionate and dedicated group of athletes who combine creativity, athleticism, and teamwork to excel in this unique sport.
Our athletes range from beginners to experienced competitors and participate annually in the Canadian University Artistic Swimming League’s national championships. Last year, we delivered high-scoring routines across team, duet, and solo events, and our novice program earned first-place finishes in solo and duet categories.
In March 2026, we will travel to Quebec City for the University National Artistic Swimming Championships. However, as a self-funded club, training and travel costs fall entirely on our athletes. With the closure of McKinnon Pool, rental fees for alternative facilities have significantly increased, adding to the financial burden.
