* Note: The name for the Canadian Interuniversity Sport national body that UVic student-athletes compete under has changed names throughout time. From 1906 to 2000 they were known as the CIAU (Canadian Interuniversity Athletic Union) and then adopted CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport) in 2001, before officially becoming U SPORTS in April 2017.
