VICTORIA – The University of Victoria women's rowing team completed the "three-peat," capturing the program's third-straight Canadian University Rowing Championship banner at Elk Lake, Nov. 3.

Faubert captures lightweight 1x title
- Sai Sai Faubert won the lightweight 1x title with a time of 7:36.23 to win the gold medal.
Lightweight 4+ wins for first time in over a decade
- The Vikes' lightweight 4+ boat of Sadie Green, Sophia Regosa, Kate Watson, Faubert, and Elena Masyte captured the program's first gold medal in this event since 2011 with a time of 7:06.4.
- Down to the wire, this final race win secured the needed points for the Vikes to repeat as national champions.
Vikes finish no lower than second in all events
- Victoria finished on the podium in all six events, claiming at least silver medals in each one at the CURCs.
Faubert, Gumley earn regatta awards
- Following the regatta, Faubert was named the Female Athlete of the Year for her two gold medal winning performances, while head coach Jane Gumley was named Coach of the Year for the fourth-straight season.
