Victoria, BC – The University of Victoria women's rowing team grabbed a second-place finish in the annual Brown Cup against provincial rivals, UBC Thunderbirds. The reserve boat captured in the Campbell-Dowd Cup to open the day of races on the Gorge Waterway, March 28.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• The varsity crew of Sofie Hof, Isabel Harold, Belen Reed, Violet Scholz, Sarah Stormont, Georgia Skeans, Zoe Scogna, Sai Sai Faubert, and Meghan Gillmore dug deep to finish with a time of 11:37.9, finishing second in this year's Brown Cup.
• The reserve crew of Sadie Green, Elyse Jobling, Elena Masyte, Addison Stenzel, Kaliya Javra, Sophia Regosa, Erica Zander, Kiara Brennan, and Kate Watson won the Campbell-Dowd Cup with their time of 12:02.32.

 
This concludes the season for the Vikes women's rowing team. The squad will return to the water in the fall with hopes of another successful season.
