Montreal, QC – The University of Victoria women's rowing team finished third at the 2025 Canadian University Rowing Championships, winning three medals on Nov. 1 and 2, hosted by McGill University.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
Kate Watson won two medals for the Vikes.

• Kate Watson, along with partner Sai Sai Faubert, won silver in the lightweight 2x race. Watson, along with Sophia Regosa, Zoe Scogna, Elena Masyte, and Sadie Green, captured bronze in the lightweight 4+ boat.

 
Pepper Howe took bronze in single sculls.

• Pepper Howe won the bronze medal in the 1x boat with time of 8:17.31.

 
The Vikes will return to racing in the spring of 2026.
