The University of Victoria Vikes men's rugby team thought they might have had their game out of reach on Sept. 22. The Vikes went down 12-0 early in the game. The Bays gave up 34 points in the second half despite holding Victoria to 14 in the first. Fifth-year Vike Crosby Stewart's play helped the Vikes get back on track and eventually secure an impressive 48-26 victory at Wallace Field. Crosby scored three tries in the game used his speed and agility to evade defenders. The Vikes improve their record to 1-1 in the B.C. Premier League standings and will play Burnaby Lake on Sept. 29.
