FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Maddy Aberg kicked three successful conversions for the Vikes in their Canada West semi final victory over the UBC Thunderbirds on Oct. 19. The win earned Victoria a spot in the U SPORTS National Women’s Rugby Championship at Acadia University on Nov. 1-4. Aberg’s 27 regular season points led her team in scoring this season, and was good enough for fourth overall in Canada West. The Vikes earned a Canada West silver medal after being edged by the Dinos in the final.
