FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Second-year student athlete Adriana Rooker from the Vikes women’s rowing team had the standout performance of the day this past Sunday at the 34th Annual Monster Erg. Rooker posted a time of 7:09 to win the Under 23 event while teammate Piper Battersby finished just behind Rooker in second place with a time of 7:13.09. The Edmonton native also holds a gold medal in the JV 4+ event from the Elk Lake Spring Regatta in 2018.
