Cole Peterson, a Computer Science student from Edmonton, Alberta, finished first in the men’s 1000-metre race at the Golden Bears Open in his home town. The fifth-year Vike ran a time of 2:25.46 and is now top-two in the U SPORTS 1000-metre rankings.
