Eric Hedlin, an Engineering student from San Diego, California, won the 10km and 5km races at the 2017 Australian National Open Water Championships over the weekend. The second-year Vike beat out Olympian Jarrod Poort by over two minutes in the 10km and another Olympian, Jack McLoughlin, in the 5km.
