OLYMPIA, Wash. - #Megan Woodland#, a rookie on the UVic Vikes women's golf team, shot a 10-over 154 to place third overall at the Saint Martin's Invitational.

Woodland, a native of Victoria, shot a 76 on the final round of tournament play at the Golf Club at Hawks Prairie. The rookie's strong performance vaulted the Vikes to a third place team finish with a combined score of 637.

No UVic competitor placed worse than 11th in the 36-hole tournament. #Alyssa Herkel# tied for fifth at 160, #Anne Balser# and #Michaela Misener# finished tied for ninth at 163, and #Kristy Chew# placed 11th with a 166.

Saint Martin's won both team and individual titles with a combined score of 635, and Lauren Roberts carding a two-over 146.
