OLYMPIA, Wash. - #Sam Holland# placed second overall at the Saint Martin's Invitational, in leading the UVic Vikes men's golf team to a sixth place team finish.

Holland, a rookie from New Minas, NS, shot a three-under 69 in the final round to finish the two-day tournament at 142. Holland finished two strokes behind tournament champ Zach Dietz, of the host school, who won the 36-hole tournament with a score of 140.

Holland's twin brother, #James Holland# placed tied for 36th with a two-day total of 151. #Chase Teron# carded a 72 on his final round to finish the tournament at 149, which was good enough for a share of 20th place.

The Vikes finished sixth in the team standings with a total team score of 595 at Hawks Prairie. Tournament host Saint Martin's won the team title with a low score of 583.
