LANGLEY, BC - Playing under the lights of Trinity Western's Rogers Park, the UVic Vikes men's soccer team fell 2-0 against the no. 7 ranked Spartans.

Trinity Western attacked early and often with rookie Andre Costa setting the tone with an early marker in the 7th minute. Costa, a Brazilian import, manufactured four shots in a 15-5 advantage for the home side.
The Spartans added another score in the 79th minute with Garrett Peters beating the 'keeper on the rebound.

Elliot Mitrou# made four saves in the loss, while Trinity Western's former All-Star netminder Andrew Fink stopped three shots for the shutout win.
