VICTORIA - The UVic Vikes men's soccer team is hoping another home date will get them in the win column on Sunday, when Centennial Stadium hosts a week four matchup against the Fraser Valley Cascades.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Vikes and Cascades are looking to make up ground in the Canada West standings with both teams at the bottom of the league table. Sunday's match is the halfway point of the 2010 campaign, and one side could use the opportunity to make their run.

SCOUTING THE VIKES
On the strength of their defence, including a seven-save performance from reserve 'keeper #Michael Branion-Calles#, the Vikes picked up their first point of 2010 against Saskatchewan last weekend. The Vikes also broke their season-long scoring drought with scores from #Wes Barret#t, #Andrew Ravenhill# and much-hyped recruit #Craig Taylor#. Through three weeks, the Vikes are now 0-5-1.

SCOUTING THE CASCADES
Since winning their opener on the road, Fraser Valley has been mired in a five-game losing streak. However, the last time the Cascades came to the Island they took a 1-0 victory with Josh Atebe pocketing the winner. Fraser Valley's offensive catalyst this season has been midfielder Sasa Plavsic, who has scored twice and added two assists.
