WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

SCOUTING THE VIKES
On the strength of their defence, including a seven-save performance from reserve 'keeper #
Michael Branion-Calles#, the Vikes picked up their first point of 2010 against Saskatchewan last weekend. The Vikes also broke their season-long scoring drought with scores from #Wes Barret#t, #
Andrew Ravenhill# and much-hyped recruit #
Craig Taylor#. Through three weeks, the Vikes are now 0-5-1.
SCOUTING THE CASCADES
Since winning their opener on the road, Fraser Valley has been mired in a five-game losing streak. However, the last time the Cascades came to the Island they took a 1-0 victory with Josh Atebe pocketing the winner. Fraser Valley's offensive catalyst this season has been midfielder Sasa Plavsic, who has scored twice and added two assists.
