VICTORIA - The University of Victoria women's rugby team hosts the 2022 U SPORTS Championships, Nov. 2-6 at Wallace Field and Centennial Stadium. The Vikes received the eighth seed in the tournament, and will face Queen's University in the first round, Nov. 2.

- The Vikes host the U SPORTS women's rugby championships for the third time in program history in 2022 (2005, 2016).
- UVic enters the tournament as the No. 8 seed, coming off a runner-up finish at the Canada West championships, Oct. 3. The Vikes hold a 4-2-1 record through seven matches this season.

- Zoe Williams and Summer Blackmore also earned Canada West All-Star nods for the Vikes this season.
- Victoria is coming off their best-ever finish at the U SPORTS championships in 2021, taking fourth place.
