Vancouver, B.C. – Concluding the 2022 Canada West Rugby 7s series, the University of Victoria women's rugby team heads to Vancouver, B.C. in search of their fourth-straight Canada West Championship banner at the UBC Rugby 7s stop, Feb. 25-26.

Times: 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. Friday, Saturday placement beginning at 11:00 a.m.

NEWS & NOTES

• The Vikes head to Vancouver sitting in first place in Canada West, accumulating 24 points from tournament wins at Alberta, Jan. 23, and Victoria, Feb. 13.
• UVic holds an 11-0 record in 2022, going 6-0 during the first tournament at Alberta and 5-0 in Victoria.
• Victoria will be vying for the program's fourth-straight Canada West banner, having brought home the titles in 2018, 2019, and 2020 (no competition in 2021).
• The Vikes will take on Calgary and Lethbridge to open the weekend, having defeated the Dinos 29-0 and the Pronghorns 26-5 during the Victoria 7s series. Friday's results will determine placements for Saturday's matches.
• The final action of the 2022 season, women's rugby concludes its 7s season at UBC.
