NEWS & NOTES
- The Vikes will open the 2023 7s season facing Regina, Lethbridge and Calgary on day one of the tournament beginning at 11:03 a.m. MT. Opponents and game times for day two of the tournament are based on day one results.
- Victoria won last year's Edmonton 7s stop, going 6-0 and defeating UBC in the gold medal match, 12-7, Jan. 23, 2022.
- UVic went a perfect 15-0 during the 2021 season, posting the program's third overall undefeated 7s season en route to capturing its fourth-straight Canada West title.
- The 2023 season will feature the return of the Canadian University 7s National Championship, the first title tournament since 2019. Concordia hosts the national tournament March 26-27.
