VICTORIA - The University of Victoria men's soccer team begins postseason play against the University of Lethbridge, Oct. 28, on the campus of top Canada West prairie division seed Mount Royal University.

NEWS & NOTES
- The Vikes and Pronghorns will face off in the quarterfinal round of the Canada West playoffs. The winner will advance to play the winner of Mount Royal verus Thompson Rivers in the semifinals on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. MT.
- Victoria finished the regular season with a 10-4-2 record, claiming second in the pacific division. Lethbridge ended with a 4-5-5 record for third place in the prairie division.
- Javier Sagaste led the Vikes in goals, assists, and points on the year, finishing with six goals and six assists for 12 points. Matthew Pearse follows close behind with five goals on the season, while Jordan Mckinty has four assists.
- The Vikes enter the playoffs with newly-minted Canada West All-Stars in Sagaste on the first team, Fin Tugwell on the second team, and Aiden Grew and Matthew Pearse on the all-rookie team.
- Victoria returns to the Canada West playoffs for the first time since the 2021 season, where the Vikes finished as conference runners-up and earned a trip to the U SPORTS Men's Soccer Championships.
