VICTORIA – The University of Victoria men's and women's soccer teams host Trinity Western University and the University of the Fraser Valley, Sept. 8 & 10, at Centennial Stadium. Friday's games against the Spartans will feature the annual "Thunderfest" festivities, including recognition of the Vikes' national championship teams from the 2022-23 season.

- The Vikes men and women's teams each have two wins on the season, with the women holding an overall 2-1-0 record and the men sitting at 2-0-0.
- Opening their season on the road, the Vikes' men's side shutout Thompson Rivers, 1-0, and UBC Okanagan, 1-0, Sept. 1-2 to start the season undefeated after the first weekend for the first time since the 2019 season.
- The Vikes' women's side hosted Mount Royal for its home-opener, Sept. 2, capturing a decisive 4-1 win over the Cougars at Centennial Stadium.
- Trinity Western enters the weekend with records of 1-1-1 and 3-0-1 on the women's and men's sides, respectively.
- Fraser Valley men's and women's teams hold 1-1-0 and 1-1-1 records heading in to the weekend, respectively.
- The Vikes' women's team has scored 11 goals through three matches, led by four from Emma Skalik.
- Javier Sagaste and Remi Barbot each have one goal on the year, both game-winners for the Vikes.
- After a two-goal day against MRU, Ruby Nicholas' point tally improved to seven on the season, comprised of three goals and a team-high four assists.
