VICTORIA - Currently tied for first place in the conference standings, the University of Victoria women's rugby 7s team will look to capture the program's fifth Canada West banner at the Langley 7s stop, hosted by Trinity Western University, Feb. 23-24 to close the conference season.

- The Vikes enter the final Canada West 7s stop with an 8-1 overall record after going 4-1 at the Vancouver 7s stop. Victoria is tied with UBC at the top of the Canada West standings with 18 points after one tournament win and one runner-up finish.
- UVic will face all familiar foes at the Langley 7s stop: Alberta, Lethbridge and Calgary on day one, followed by Trinity Western and UBC on day two.
- Larah Wright earned a nod to the Vancouver 7s Dream Team following the tournament, recording a team-high five tries over the two-day event, Feb. 9-10. She joins Maggie MacKinnon and Lucie Romeo as Vikes Dream Team honourees, as MacKinnon and Romeo were both named to the Alberta 7s Dream Team (Jan. 20-21).
- MacKinnon leads all players in Canada West with 83 points through two tournaments, coming via seven tries and a conference-leading 24 converts.
- The Langley 7s stop will determine the Canada West champion. The Vikes look to capture their first title since the 2022 season and fifth overall in program history.
