Victoria, BC – The University of Victoria women's soccer team lost 2-1 to UBC Okanagan on Oct. 4, at Centennial Stadium.
Scoreless first half
- The first half was predominantly played in the midfield with neither team finding any chance to break through the opposition's wall of defense.
UBCO first on the board
- In the 73rd minute, the Heat broke the scoreless tie as they took a 1-0 lead.
Vikes answer back
- In a rare sequence, Adrianna Hilton took a corner kick, and it went untouched and fooled the Heat's keeper. This would be Hilton's second goal of the season and brought the game back to a tie.
UBCO goal put the game away
- Off a rush in the 88th minute, a ball bouncing around the box led to UBCO scoring the go-ahead goal.

- With the loss, the Vikes are now 4-3-3 and the Heat move to 3-5-2 on the year.
