  • In the 22nd minute, Eden Kilgour put her head down and ran through countless tackles to make it 21-0 Vikes.
  • Keeping the pressure on, the Vikes effectively passed the ball around, dicing up the Horns' defense to increase their lead to 26-0.

  • In the final seconds of the first half, Vanessa Chiapetta buried her second try of the game as she made it 43-0 headed into the half.
Vikes' lead proves insurmountable in the second half
  • The Horns were the first on the board in the second half as they broke the shutout to make it 43-5.
  • The Vikes took back the momentum in the 47th minute when Chloe Hill-Huse crossed the line for her first try of the game.
  • The ball movement of the Vikes continued to baffle the Horns' defenders as Carissa Norsten used her speed to make it a 55-5 Vikes' lead.
  • The Pronghorns recorded their second try of the game in the 66th minute to cut into the Vikes' lead to 55-12.
The Vikes look to continue their undefeated season with their next game, Sep. 21 against the University of Alberta at Wallace Field.
