Victoria, B.C. – The University of Victoria women's soccer team tied the University of Fraser Valley 0-0, Sept. 14 at Centennial Stadium.
Neither squad able to find the back of the net
The defensive units of both teams proved to be the dominate forces in this game. The Vikes' had multiple chances to break the scoreless tie but the defensive game plan of the Cascades stifled their scoring rushes. The Cascades' goalkeeper made timely stops as the Vikes remained relentless on the offensive end. Neither goalie blinked with the game on the line as both shutout all scoring opportunities. For the Vikes, this is their second shutout of Fraser Valley this season.
