University of Victoria Athletics

VICTORIA - The University of Victoria Vikes celebrated the announcement of 66 student-athletes being named to the 2013 Vikes Honour Roll list on Nov. 27, 2013 at the University of Victoria's Faculty Club on campus. In addition, third-year men's rowing team member Isaac Davies (Smithers, BC) was named the 2012-13 Provost Award winner. Davies boasted an 8.50 GPA throughout the 2012-13 school year and is in the faculty of Education.

In addition those student-athletes from sports that compete in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) received an Academic All-Canadian certificate personally signed by His Excellency, the Right Honorable David Johnston, Govenor General of Canada.

The Vikes student-athlete with the highest academic average is annually recognized at the Vikes Athletics Awards Banquet with the Provost’s Award for Excellence
