2021 Virtual Vikes Golf Classic - How it Works
WHEN: Tournament Week – August 23rd to 29th, 2021
WHERE: Any 18-Hole Golf Facility of your choosing during the tournament week
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: 2 person team, count 1 best Net Stableford* per hole, add them all for 18-hole final team score
HOW IT WORKS:
STEP 1: Find a partner and create your 2 person team. If you would like to do a 4some, you can register two 2 person teams. If you register yourself without a partner (i.e. as a single), we will do our best to find you a teammate/partner!
STEP 2: Register yourself and your partner on this page. Sponsors please connect with Marissa at stuasponsor@uvic.ca to register your teams.
STEP 3: Select a day and golf course you wish to play your tournament round between August 23rd and 29th (Note: Green fee and associated golf costs [if applicable] are not included in the event registration fee). You are not limited to one tournament day, you may register yourself multiple times if you wish to play multiple days during the tournament week.
STEP 4: Upon completing your tournament round, take a photo of your completed scorecard and email it to UVic Vikes Golf Coach, Justin Clews – jclews@uvic.ca (and accompany your mailing address within the email for the delivery of your tee gift).
STEP 5: For our local players, within a week of submitting your scorecard, a Vikes student-athlete golfer or coach will personally deliver your tee gift (and your potential team prize) to you. For non-local players, your tee gift will be shipped to you.

*Net Stableford Scoring System per hole:
0pt = Net Double Bogey or worse
1pt = Net Bogey
2pts = Net Par
3pts = Net Birdie
4pts = Net Eagle or better
