Gavin Titley enters his fourth season as Assistant Coach alongside first-time head coach Derrick Norton. Titley, a Vancouver native and Earth and Ocean Sciences and English major, patrolled the midfield line for the Men's field hockey team for five seasons, finishing his Vikes career in the 2012-13 season.

Acting as a team captain during his final 2 years with the Vikes, Titley anchored the midfield with hard-nosed defensive play and poised distribution on attack. He hopes to help foster these sorts of traits in this year's athletes and Vikes of the future.
