Biography

Avalon Wasteneys was born August 31, 1997 in Toronto, ON, to Heather Clarke and Hardolph Wasteneys and later raised just outside of Campbell River, BC. Along with her two siblings, Avalon competed nationally as a cross country skier during her high-school years before joining the rowing team at Uvic. Avalon won three gold medals at the 2017 Canada Summer Games while representing Team BC.
