Permanently appointed to the position of Executive Director, Wellness, Recreation & Athletics in April 2024, Nicole first joined the ATRS team for a one-year term appointment in September 2022, having served as UVic’s Registrar since February of 2016. In June of 2023 Nicole was very excited to have Student Wellness added to her portfolio of responsibilities.

Nicole is as an accomplished leader who builds strong teams, empowers others and is committed to the student experience and student success. She has worked with teams in the Athletics, Recreation, Student Wellness, Office of the Registrar & Enrolment Management, and throughout Student Affairs to support UVic students through program delivery, leadership and contributions to numerous complex departmental and institutional initiatives and projects, and by building collaborative relationships with University colleagues and partners. Previous to joining UVic, Nicole spent 27 years at Camosun College, the last eight of which were as the Director of Student Services and Registrar.
