FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Fourth-year Vike Katie Langdon scored the game winning basket for the Vikes in the last second of the game on Jan.5 against the reigning national bronze medalists from Regina. With the buzzer about to sound, Langdon drove the basket after receiving a pass from Ashlyn day and dropped in the game-winning basket to give the Vikes a 70-69 victory. Langdon finished the weekend scoring a total of 24 points over the two games against the Cougars and posted a double-double on Saturday scoring 17 points to go with 12 rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
