FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
 Fourth-year goalkeeper Puck Louwes played a large role for the Vikes women’s soccer team at the Keg Spring Cup tournament this past weekend in Victoria. The 2017-18 U SPORTS All-Canadian keeper shutout the 2018 Canada West bronze medalist Alberta Pandas in the opening game of the tournament. The Vikes advanced to the finals by defeating the Pandas in a penalty shootout. Before giving the net away to rookie goalie Olivia Procter in the last half of the tournament final against UBC, Louwes was riding a 135-minute shutout streak. Victoria went on to defeat the Thunderbirds to capture the 33rd Keg Spring Cup title.
