Kristy Gallagher is Athlete of the Week for January 1-7 after her performance led the Vikes to two wins at home against the Thompson Rivers WolfPack. On Jan. 5 Kristy logged 29 minutes and had eight points and eight assists in a dominating 83-65 win. On Jan. 6 Kristy had 26 points in 37 minutes played and was 11-for-17 from the field as the Vikes went on to win 83-64. With the wins the Vikes improved to a 8-4 Canada West record.
