Stefanie Langkammer had a highlight performance at this weekend's B.C. Senior Indoor Field Hockey Championship in Duncan, Feb. 3-4. The fourth year led the Vikes and the tournament in scoring. She scored in all but one of the Vikes' six games including scoring all five goals in the team's' 5-2 semifinal victory over the Valley Vixens. All five of Langkammer's goals were against the tournament's top goalkeeper, a former international indoor keeper, and put the Vikes in to the championship final, where the team tied 3-3 and lost in golden-goal over time. The Vikes closed out their indoor season with a first place finish at the UVic Indoor Tournament, Jan. 19-20, and a second-place finish at the BC Seniors.Â
