Flock and Snell do it again

LETHBRIDGE - #Kendra Flock# and #Jackie Snell# provided the winning combination in the UVic Vikes women's soccer team's 3-1 road victory over the Lethbridge Pronghorns.

Flock opened the scoring in the 31st minute, scoring her league-leading 11th goal. Snell picked up the assist, and both players also assisted on a pair of Vikes late goals.

After Lethbridge tied the game in the 73rd minute, the Vikes were quick to respond with the go-ahead goal coming just a minute later. #Kelsey Blake# potted the winner in the 74th minute with Snell being attributed the helper. Three minutes later, in the 77th minute, Flock setup #Tessa Margetts#' insurance marker.

The Vikes had a 14-6 advantage in shots. Goalkeeper #Stephanie Parker# made five saves, her only blemish was Lilli Young's marker in the 73rd minute.

The no. 4 Vikes improve to 7-1-3 with the win and have three games remaining in the conference slate. UVic is six points behind Trinity Western for first place, but has a four-point advantage over third place Alberta.
