VICTORIA – With the postseason just four games away, the UVic Vikes women's soccer team returns to Centennial Stadium sitting four spots shy of a berth to the Canada West playoffs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Sitting in seventh place with a 2-5-3 record, the Regina Cougars are two points ahead of the Vikes in the Canada West standings. In the season opener back on September 11th, the Vikes drew 1-1 with the Cougars in Regina.
The Bisons are currently ranked ninth in the conference sitting just two points shy of the Vikes. The two sides battled to a 1-1 draw on September 12th in Winnipeg.
SCOUTING THE VIKES
Plagued by injury and an exhausting road schedule, the Vikes offence has sputtered in recent weeks, being held off the score sheet in four of their last five games. Rookie #
Jaclyn Sawicki# and #
Kaitlyn Hunter# are currently sitting on top of the scoring charts with two goals apiece.
The Vikes are looking to build their defence back together after conceding 13 goals in four games. Third year goalkeeper #Steph Parker# currently boasts a .724 save percentage and has posted one shutout this season.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
Sitting at 3-5-2, Regina are just two points ahead of the Vikes in the conference standings. Leading the Cougars defensively has been goalkeeper Michelle Anderson, who boasts a .823 saves percentage. The Cougars have conceded 14 goals this season, but if it weren't for Anderson's conference-high 65 saves, the goals against column could be much higher. Goal scoring duties have been shared amongst seven different players with Adrianna Bonutti netting a team-high two goals.
SCOUTING THE BISONS
Like Victoria, Manitoba (1-5-4) is on the outside looking in at the playoff picture, sitting nine points shy of fourth-place Saskatchewan. Carrie Nash has been the driving force behind the Bisons' offence posting team-highs three goals and three assists. Goalkeeper Laura Harrison has posted one shutout and currently boasts a .745 saves percentage.
