WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Vikes were the only team to beat Trinity Western in 2009, handing the eventual national champs back-to-back losses. The conference powerhouses never crossed paths in the postseason, however, as the reigning champs went on to defend their national title with a 4-2 PK victory over Montreal in the CIS final. The no. 7 UBC Thunderbirds eliminated the Vikes from the postseason in '09, denying their provincial rivals a nationals berth for the first time in five years.

Jaclyn Sawicki# has led the Vikes offence potting two goals in four matches.
SCOUTING THE SPARTANS (5-1)

The Spartans suffered their first loss in ten straight home games last weekend when Alberta narrowly escaped Langley with a 3-2 victory.
SCOUTING THE THUNDERBIRDS (4-1-1)
Janine Frazao is once again topping the Thunderbirds scoring charts as the Team BC standout has already netted six goals in six outings. The T-Birds have several sharpshooters in their arsenal and have outscored their opponents 12-4. Meghan Best has held steady in net recording three shutouts, second highest in the conference. The squad's first loss came at the hands of the Alberta last weekend when the Pandas scored two goals off of corner kicks.
