VICTORIA – The No. 3-ranked University of Victoria Vikes will aim for a second-straight weekend of back-to-back wins when they head on the road to face the Calgary Dinos and Lethbridge Pronghorns, Feb. 1-2 at 7:00 and 6:00 p.m. Calgary currently holds a 5-11 record and sit in sixth in the Prairie Division, while the Pronghorns sit comfortably in fourth with an 11-5 record.

Last weekend, the 14-2 Vikes dominated the Mount Royal Cougars in back-to-back matches in front of a home crowd at McKinnon Gym. Fifth-year Vike

The Vikes defence boast an impressive 56.8 points allowed-per game, averaging nearly 10 points less than second-place Fraser Valley.

Losers of their previous seven matches, the Dinos will be tasked with putting up points against the best scoring defense in Canada West. The Dinos offence have found a majority of their scoring from team leader Jarred Ogunbemi-Jackson, who leads his team with 328 points and 20.5 points-per-game. Teammates Josh Turner and Phillip Barndt round out the top-3 in scoring with 201 and 193 points, respectively.

Following their Dinos match-up, the Vikes will travel to Lethbridge to face the fourth-place Pronghorns Feb. 4, who will also be playing their second game in as many nights. Coming off an upset of the No. 9-ranked Saskatchewan Huskies, the Pronghorns get another chance to upset another top-10 team in the Vikes Saturday.

Australia native Brandon Brine leads the Pronghorn's No. 2-ranked offence with 239 points, averaging 17.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per-game. Teammates Logan Reiter and Morgan Duce round out the top-3 contributors on offence, putting up 271 and 213 points through 16 games this season, respectively.
