HEAD COACH TRACY DAVID ON THE WEEKEND
"It is important to get off to a good start in Canada West play," said David. "I think players from both teams were really excited to play after not being able to compete for a year and a half. Thunderfest gave us a lift as it was a great event and the crowd helped us get on the board after 35 seconds. The games provided an opportunity for our players to get minutes in two competitive matches."
UP NEXT
The Vikes will travel to Abbotsford, BC for a two-game series with the University of the Fraser Valley, set for Sept. 17 and Sept. 19.
