- Bouncing back with wins, Nov. 5, the men claimed an 88-60 victory over Lethbridge, while the women topped the Pronghorns, 71-69.
- Ashlyn Day's 62-point weekend earned Canada West and U SPORTS Player of the Week honours. She leads all players in the conference with a 31.0 points per game average.
- Day also leads the Vikes and ranks third in the conference with an 11.5 rebounds per game average.
- Diego Maffia sits second in Canada West with a 29.5 points per game scoring average after the first weekend of play.
- Dominick Oliveri's 11.0 rebounds per game average leads the Vikes and is tied for second in Canada West.
- The Winnipeg men and women's teams both hold 2-0 records entering the weekend, defeating Thompson Rivers in two games, Nov. 4-5 to open the season.
- Kyanna Giles leads the Wesmen women with a 21.0 points per game average, while Shawn Maranan's 19.5 points per game average is a team-high for the Wesmen men's side.
