• UBC holds the top spot in the Canada West pacific division, holding a 2-0-0 record after besting UFV, 8-0, and TWU, 2-0 during opening weekend.
• Kayley Lidstone recorded a career-high 13 saves in the Vikes' season-opener against the Spartans, and followed up by posting her first clean sheet of the season against the Cascades. Lidstone currently has 16 saves on the season.
• The Thunderbirds' Danielle Steer comes into the weekend as the Canada West Player of the Week after posting four goals and two assists in a six-point weekend.
