VICTORIA - The University of Victoria women's soccer team heads to the campus of the University of British Columbia for the Canada West Final Four, Nov. 2-3. The Vikes will face Trinity Western University in the semifinals, Nov. 2, to open the tournament.

NEWS & NOTES
- The Vikes enter the Final Four as the fourth seed in the pacific division, holding an overall record of 10-4-2, including a 2-0 postseason mark.
- Victoria fought its way to its first Canada West Final Four appearance since 2017 with a play-in round win over Fraser Valley on penalty kicks, 1-1 (3-1 PK), Oct. 21, and 2-0 shutout of the top prairie seed MacEwan on the road, Oct. 28.
- The Spartans sit at 10-2-3Â through the quarterfinals, holding the second seed in the pacific division and defeating Calgary, 1-1 (4-3 PK) to claim their place in the Final Four.
- Victoria and Trinity Western met twice in the 2023 regular season, with the Spartans claiming a 4-1 win, Sept. 8 at Centennial Stadium, and the Vikes posting a 1-0 shutout, Oct. 14 at Chase Office Field.
- The other semifinal matchup will be between the top pacific seed UBC and second seed in the prairie Saskatchewan. The winners of both matchups will advance to the gold medal game Friday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m., while the losers will face off at 4 p.m. in the bronze medal match.
- Erin Jensen leads the Vikes with nine goals on the year, and is coming off Canada West Player of the Week honours (Oct. 31) after her two-goal performance at MacEwan.
- Ruby Nicholas' nine assists in the regular season tied for most in the conference, while her total sits at 10 on the year after adding another against MacEwan.
