VICTORIA – The University of Victoria men's rowing team finished in fourth place at the 2024 Canadian University Rowing Championships, winning five medals at the regatta hosted on Elk Lake, Nov. 3.

• Giancarlo DiPompeo finished the championship with three medals: a lightweight 1x silver, lightweight 2x bronze, and lightweight 4+ bronze.

Ferraro captures pair of bronze medals

• Louis Ferraro won two bronze medals as part of the lightweight 2x and lightweight 4+ boats for the Vikes.

Hubbard, lightweight 4+ round out medal winners

• Andrew Hubbard clocked in at 7:06.19 for the bronze medal in the 1x.
• The lightweight 4+ boat of Ferraro, Oliver Howard Batek, James Gemmill, DiPompeo and Josie Roelofs finished with the bronze after a 6:18.89 showing.
