- Continuing to hold the No. 2 spot in the U SPORTS Top 10 rankings, the Vikes' men's team sits tied at the top of the Canada West standings for first place with a 13-3 record, most recently posting two wins against Brandon, Feb. 2-3 at CARSA Performance Gym.
- Sweeping Brandon one weekend ago on home court, the Vikes' women's team sits at 6-10 overall record and currently holds 10th place in the conference standings.
- MacEwan enters the weekend 0-18 on the men's side and 1-17 on the women's side, with both teams coming off a pair of losses to UBCO, Feb. 2-3.
- Abigail Becker led the way for the Vikes in their two wins over Brandon, tallying a team-high 18 points in game one and 21 points in game two, completing a double-double effort in Saturday's game with 10 rebounds. Becker continues to lead the conference with a 62.0% made field goal percentage.
- Elias Ralph continued his impressive season against the Bobcats, recording two-straight double-doubles with a 21-point and career-high 18-rebound night in game one, and 22-point, 12-rebound performance in game two, also leading the Vikes in steals (3) and blocks (4) in the second game of the series. His 44.0% three-point shooting percentage ranks fifth in Canada West.
- Diego Maffia continues to lead the nation with a 27.8 points per game average on the men's side, while Becker leads the women's side at 15.0 points per game.
