Lethbridge, Alta. - The University of Victoria men's soccer team ended in a scoreless draw against the University of Lethbridge, Sept. 21 at the University of Lethbridge Community Stadium.

Vikes defence denies first half scoring opportunities
- Though the Vikes dominated possession early, the Pronghorns had the best scoring chance in the first 45 minutes. However, their shot 14 minutes in was denied by the Vikes defence to keep the game scoreless.
Tugwell nearly puts the Vikes on the board
- Archie Tugwell had a second-chance opportunity to score following a Vikes corner kick, but the Lethbridge goalkeeper was able to make the save and keep the game at 0-0.
Lethbridge free kick nearly wins itÂ
- In the final moments, the Pronghorns were awarded a free kick, but the shot narrowly sailed over the bar and finalized the match score at 0-0.
WORTH NOTING
- The Vikes finished with a 9-6 advantage in shots, and narrow 3-2 edge in shots on goal. Victoria also ended with seven corner kicks to the Pronghorns' four.
- Callum Weir recorded two saves for Victoria.
- The Vikes now sit at 5-0-3 on the season while Lethbridge moves to 2-2-4 following the tie.
